The round table aims to foster dialogue on the European Union’s evolving strategic posture in the Black Sea region, emphasizing the importance of multilateral cooperation, resilience, and security integration in the face of hybrid threats.

The EUXGLOB Center of the Faculty of European Studies, Babeș-Bolyai University, is pleased to announce the publication of the fourth volume in the series dedicated to the international conference THE EU AFTER THE EUROPEAN ELECTIONS: Priorities, Challenges, Relations with the World.

The volume, entitled “The EU after the European Elections: Priorities, Challenges, Relations with the World”, brings together contributions presented at the fourth edition of the conference, held on December 5-6, 2024.

Edited by Valentin Naumescu, Raluca Moldovan, and Adrian I. Bogdan, the volume addresses key issues such as:

• the European Union’s priorities after the European elections,

• the political and institutional challenges facing the EU,

• the Union’s external relations in a complex global context.

This publication continues the EUXGLOB series edited at Babeș-Bolyai University, further strengthening the contribution of Romanian and international academic research to the understanding of international processes and the European Union’s role in the world.

Building on the work of the previous three volumes, The New Transatlantic Relations and the Perspectives of the Global Order (2021), The EU and NATO Approaches to the Black Sea Region (2022), and Perspectives of the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood (2023), this fourth volume expands the dialogue on Europe’s external relations and its place in the evolving global order.

The launch of EUXGLOB Volume 4 will take place on October 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the amphitheater of the Bihor County Library in Oradea. All interested scholars, students, and members of the public are welcome to attend.

În perioada 11-14 iulie 2024, think tankul Inițiativa pentru Cultură Democratică Europeană (ICDE), împreună cu Facultatea de Studii Europene și Centrul pentru studiul relațiilor externe ale UE și ordinii globale (EUXGLOB) din cadrul Universității Babeș-Bolyai, organizează cea de-a treia ediție a școlii de vară anuale, cu tema „La jumătatea anului electoral 2024: concluzii de etapă, tendințe și perspective.” Evenimentul va avea loc la Facultatea de Studii Europene a UBB.
