Dr. Silviu NATE is an associate professor at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, the Security Studies undergraduate program coordinator, and the director of the Global Studies Center. His analytical interests focus mainly on the Wider Black Sea Region and transatlantic relations.
He coordinated several policy papers on energy, migration, security in the Black Sea and influenced strategic decisions for strengthening the Allied presence in the region.
Areas of interest: Global power distribution, the transatlantic partnership, European security, the Wider Black Sea Region, strategic culture, Security Sector Reform, energy security, IR methodologies, analytic frameworks and tools.
